Privacy Policy

CleanEazy (“CleanEazy”, “we”, “us”) provides an on-demand cleaning marketplace that matches customers with independent professional cleaners. This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

• Account: name, email, phone, role (customer/cleaner), password (hashed).
• Profile: avatar, address, geolocation, gender (for matching), birth year (for age-range matching), bio.
• Booking: service type, schedule, address, notes, preferred cleaner attributes, theme selection (Glam Clean), payment status.
• Body-cam media: video uploaded by cleaner after a job; viewable only by booking parties and admin.
• Payment data: handled by Stripe; we store a session ID and amount, not your card details.
• Device data: IP, browser, approximate location, usage logs.

• Match customers with nearby cleaners based on location, gender preference, age range, and availability.
• Process payments, subscriptions, and store orders through Stripe.
• Provide trust safety features, including body-cam recordings, reviews, and dispute resolution.
• Send transactional emails (booking confirmations, receipts, account notices).
• Improve the product, fix bugs, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

We share data with: (a) the other party to a booking (cleaner ↔ customer), (b) Stripe (payments), (c) cloud storage providers for body-cam media, (d) email/SMS providers, (e) law enforcement when legally required. We do not sell your personal information.

Body-cam recordings are encrypted in transit and at rest. They are accessible only by the booking customer, the assigned cleaner, and CleanEazy administrators for safety and dispute purposes. Recordings are retained for up to 90 days and then permanently deleted unless required by an active investigation.

Glam Clean is a premium themed cleaning service. Promotional photos and bios voluntarily provided by cleaners are visible to authenticated customers within the Glam Clean section. Cleaners can opt out at any time, which removes their themed profile.

You have rights under the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and to make a complaint to the OAIC. Contact privacy@cleaneazy.com.au to exercise these rights.

We use industry-standard safeguards: TLS, hashed passwords, role-based access, and encrypted media storage. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong, unique password.

CleanEazy is not intended for users under 18. If we learn we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
